Profile Set Up

Setting up the Lofty Profile is a key step in making sure your account is ready to go before interacting with clients via the CRM. The fields that can be edited in this section will be displayed in emails sent from the Lofty CRM, including Property Alerts and Welcome Emails, so it is very important to have your profile set up from the very beginning.

Set Up Your Integrations

Lofty integrates with many lead sources and other platforms that you may use for your business. To set up your integrations:


Click "settings" at the top of your home screen


Under "My User Settings" click "Integrations"



Hit "Connect" next to each service you want to integrate and follow the prompts


Auto Importing

Leads from third party providers may be imported automatically as Hidden Leads. This means that if the email address attached to Lofty is also attached to other third party lead sources/CRMS, Lofty will automatically import those leads without you manually doing so.


To adjust this:

Go to Settings at the top>Lead Capture on the left>Lead Capture Settings at the top. See below

You can then search whatever lead sources you want to toggle them on and off

Moving Leads through your Pipeline

The main purpose of any CRM is to provide organization above and beyond what can be done with a typical spreadsheet or contact list. In Lofty, this happens on the People Page and consists of Pipelines, Segments, Tags, and a variety of filters. This article will address the structure from the top level of the organization (pipeline) all the way down to the filters that are made available.

Using Segments

Segments are used for organizing and classifying your leads into different categories. Unlike pipeline stages, a lead can be categorized into multiple segments at the same time. You might consider creating segments for events, referrals, family and friends, years, specific reminder periods, etc. Depending on your People Page UI, the segments are located in the top-left of the People Page or in the People/Segments dropdown menu shown below.

Setting up Auto Property Alerts

If you have a lot of new leads every day, it may be troublesome to set up property alerts for each of them manually. Lofty can help to automate this process! The Lofty (formerly Chime) Auto Property Alerts feature sets up property alerts for new leads based on their initial inquiry and updates according to their search criteria and behavior on your IDX website.


For best results, the Auto Property Alerts feature is turned on by default for Buyer Property Alerts and Market Snapshots, but off for Market Reports. You can turn these off or change the settings anytime.

Smart Plans

A Lofty Smart Plan is a robust lead nurturing feature that combines email drip campaigns with tasks to help you communicate with your leads on a continuous basis. If you choose to add a call/text package to your account, you can also build auto-texts into your campaigns.

Setting up your Lead Capture Sources

Lofty has made it easy for you to capture new leads from many other lead sources and automatically add their information directly into the Lofty CRM. The primary method to make this happen is via email parsing which means we train Lofty to recognize a new lead notification email and pull out as much information as possible into a lead profile in Lofty.

Download the Mobile App


Unlike many other real estate CRM platforms, Lofty was actually built mobile-first. What this means is that most of the features that are available on the computer Web App are also available via the Mobile App. There will be some features that are better used online via a web browser, but you will definitely want to have the app for the push notifications and portable database to take with you on the move.
